Peace

Posted on Updated on

Just like before
We harmonize the land.

Why?

To rest, recoup, repair,
Keep our people happy,
Then we go to war again;
We must expand.

But women will be killed,
Children and babies lost,
Homes destroyed
Corpses everywhere.
What for! What for! Why!
Why carry on so mercilessly.
Its time to think, to talk,
To see the difference,
To share the land,
Have lasting peace.

They will not listen to our plan,
They do not care for us.
We must ensure we are secure;
What they do is not our concern.

Of no concern?

No! they are not like us,
They have a different God,
They’re from a different land;
For them we do not care.

We’ll harmonize the land!

Peace And Peace Of Mind

Posted on Updated on

Peace
Peace and peace
Peace and peace of mind
Are absolutely different
From one another.

I know, You know
And we have forgotten
What is known here
At this juncture, my dear,
And we find no creature.

At Peace

Posted on Updated on

I feel so at peace…
To know that there is
Something good in my life!
I feel so sublime…
As though this world
Can no longer break me!
I feel so alive…
Having tasted love
Having been with you!

At The Peace Center

Posted on Updated on

Each word is a stone
rearranged by the spring tide
down at the seashore.

Earth, air, water, fire
are conjoined here in one piece
at each poem’s heart.

When the tide comes in
all the stones are tossed about
by the water waves.

The process goes on
day and night deep in our minds
with each new thought.

There are two movements
ever at work in all things-
even in ourselves.

These movements make us
Tangential and radial.
We stroke and we poke.

We bump and we scrape
as do the smoothed stones
along a cobbly seashore.

We move like the stones
moving down at the mind’s beach
being rearranged.

The rising waters
immerse us and we compose
in recreation.

Our view is shaken
in each kaleidoscopic
movement to novelty.

Those who are ready
to have their world rearranged
drown in the love tide.

Words come together
to make us compatible
at the peace center.

Peace, Peace, Peace

Posted on Updated on

Peace,
Bring it on
Peace, peace
You do no wrong
Peace, peace, peace
You are strong

Stronger then hatred
Stronger than fear
Stronger than the dark powers
of a troubled mind

Peace
Stay with me
Peace, peace
Flee not, try to be kind
Peace, peace, peace
Why hath thou so tough to find?

Peace Brings Peace

Posted on Updated on

A generation that loves peace will bring peace,
for if you focus on war you bring disease.
Disease in the mind that we are separate,
we are all from the same source.
Nothing dies of course,
it just changes form.
So when we think we have won
by killing another human
we really have not, have your forgot?

Show Peace And The World Will See Peace

Posted on Updated on

If we cry for peace and remain in our houses
War will come
Peace is earned and not won
Show peace and do not cry for it
And its rootlets will grow
Into our hearts and this plant will blossom there
The war we fight in our our hearts
Is more mortal than that with guns
For the gun gets its instructions
From a wicked heart and its direction
By a careless hand
The boundary we set on land could be shifted
But that built in our hearts deeply immobile.

Peace On Earth

Posted on Updated on

Why do we hate them?
Are we Homophobes?
Why did we take them?
They were forced to work.
Are we kidnappers or is that just how it is?
Why do we call them illegal?
Even if they’re not.
Why do we think every Middle Eastern man has a bomb on spot?
We look at people differently
and that is what is shown
We hate them as much as we hate ourselves
and the hatred has steadily grown.
With Gangs and Groups of hatred such as the KKK.
Whats the point for love upon earth?
Seems like it will just blow away.
As time changes so do we.
Prejudice people will still believe what they think is right.
Why are they so stubborn?
Why do they even hate?
Whats the point of loving?
Eventually it will incinerate.
The thing that people should understand
Is in every race there is the same kind of man.
One who hates and One who loves.

Stream Of Peace

Posted on Updated on

Oh God no more I can take
These troubles and stress of life
I wish to get rid of them
And go there to live and survive

Into the world of dream and peace
That is so full of hope
Where silent cries are heard by none
And no one there mopes

Oh God please help me my Lord
As I can not take any more
Of whatever is messing up my life
As I’m the begger of your door

Who is now wondering around
Into the world of dreams
Where nothing but all I wish
To see flowing the peace stream.

The Path To Peace

Posted on Updated on

This Far Eastern tale is to us very relevant,
Of three blind men who encountered an elephant.

“It’s a wall,” one man cried,
As he touched its tall side.
“But it’s a rope, without fail,”
Said the next, hands on tail.
“Oh no, it’s the trunk of a tree,”
On feeling a leg, said the last of the three.

With these words, our story ends.
It appears that the three men stayed friends.
For this to happen, you can be quite sure
Each of them had to get the whole picture.

So when with a person you disagree,
You may eye-to-eye yet readily see
If you compare your perspectives — And spare the invectives.
